Delighted Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp hailed his players for the way they adapted to a change of tactics as they thumped Stoke at Anfield. Divock Origi's second half double followed earlier strikes from Alberto Moreno and Daniel Sturridge to secure the 4-1 win.
It keeps alive Liverpool's hopes of finishing in a position where they can qualify for European football for next season. The
Reds leapfrogged Stoke in the table with the win - and Klopp was
impressed with how switched on his players were to the Potters' tactics.
Speaking
to the BBC, he said: "Today, I'm really proud. We made changes and it
was a completely new formation. I'm sure the players have never played
together before in this line-up.
